News from the Pyatigorsk Hippodrome

The traditional prize "Gul" for 3-year-old mares of the Akhal-Teke breed was raffled off at the Pyatigorsk hippodrome. The company was not numerous, but very strong. There was no obvious favorite. All 4 mares (Arslanbika, Lezzet, Hava and Ampa-Ser) successfully raced at the  2y.o.age . But having competently spread out the forces along the distance, master jockey Huseyn Huseynov, riding on Arslanbik, overtook the leader with a finishing throw and crossed the finish post first! At a distance of 1600m, Arslanbika showed a frolic of 2.00,4.

 

Arslanbika is the daughter of Bartang and Aphrodite SuTek, is the paternal sister of the winner of the Oaks 2020 - Garam-Shah. Both mares are also Champions of the breed.

 

On the same day, a Restrictive Prize was drawn for 3-year-old mares at a distance of 1400m. Our mares Proportsiya and Asmanur Shah participated in it. From the start, the race was led by Proportsiya, but having lost strength to the finish line, she  came only fourth. Asmanur Shah made a throw and came out on the second place. Her agility is 1.54,8
