Breeding Champiohship of Russia in Pyatigorsk

06.08.2022

At the Russian Akhal-Teke Breeding Championship held in Pyatigorsk on August 6, the Shah-Teke Stud Farm was represented by 4 horses: two-year-old stallions Karader-Shah (Bartang-Agayana-Shah) and Gaisar-Shah (Ganymed-Shah - Gerkana-Shah), two-year-old mare Pinar-Shah (Galaly-Psikheya) and three-year-old mare Arslanbika (Bartang - Aphrodita-SuTek).The Championship was also attended by horses born in our stud farm, but owned by other owners: two-year-old stallion Sufyan-Shah (Sarmat-Shah - Asama) and two-year-old mare Jailan-Shah (Ganymed-Shah -Januri Nisa). The rings of two-year-old horses were the most numerous and strong in composition. Pinar Shah, who took 4th place, was the closest to the winners among the fillies. But among the 2-year-old stallions, the entire podium was for horses born in our stud farm. The 3rd place was won by Sufyan-Shah (owned by a private owner), the 2nd place and the title of Young Reserve Champion of Russia at the black Karader-Shah, and the winner and Young Champion of Russia was  Gaysar-Shah. For Gaisar-Shah, this is already the second championship title - three weeks earlier, he won the title of Young Champion at the Krasnodar Regional Championship of the Akhal-Teke breed. In the ring of 3-year-old mares, our Arslanbika, last year's  Young Champion of the Krasnodar Championship and bronze medalist of the Russian Championship 2021, took 2nd place and received the title of Reserve Champion of Russia. It should be noted that all our winners and reserve champions are directly related to the leading stallion of the Shah-Teke stud fsrm - perlino Bartang, a rare line of Mele Kush. Karader-Shah and Arslanbika are his children, and Gaisar-Shah is a  grandson. Of the 13 descendants of Bartang 2 years and older, 10 are winners and prize-winners of tribal Championships. And now the grandchildren continue this tradition. In addition, some of them show a high racing class, winning and being winners of prestigious races.
